Begining of the blog...

Hello all! My name is Nathan Adkins. I am an 18 year old christian who is living in a world that is growing further and further away from God. I am going to touch on how/why I came up with the name "Life In The Fire". It all goes back to two reasons. First, as christians, it is hard to stand firm with all the ungodliness of the world out there surrounding us. We are under the "fire" of satan. It may be hard, but God is using that "fire" to refine us and to grow us to be more like Him. Second, it is more of a pun. Much of my life I dreamed of becoming a firefighter (what little boy doesn't?), and now that dream is becoming reality. Anyways, thats basically how "Life In The Fire" came about. :)
